The Rich Text field is a text input with inline formatting: bold, italic, strikethrough, code, superscript and subscript.
For plain text on several lines, use the Textarea field. For full content with headings and lists, see the Block Editor field of Modern Fields Pro.
Configuration
Go to Modern Fields > Fields groups and add the Rich Text field. Its settings are in the inspector:

Display the value
The field stores HTML, filtered like post content when it is saved. Read it with get_field():
