What data we collect and why
We only collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us. This may include:
- Contact inquiries — your name and email address, when you reach out to us directly. Used solely to respond to your message.
- Plugin license & purchase data — if you purchase a Modern Fields Pro license, your name, email address, and billing information are processed by our payment provider on our behalf. We do not store full payment card details.
We do not use any analytics tools, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking cookies. No browsing data is collected passively.
Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:
- Legitimate interest — to respond to contact requests you initiate.
- Contractual necessity — to process and fulfill plugin license purchases.
- Legal obligation — to retain billing records as required by French law.
Cookies
This website does not use any tracking or advertising cookies. Strictly necessary cookies may be set by WordPress or our payment provider solely to ensure the proper functioning of the site (e.g. session management during a purchase). No consent is required for these functional cookies under applicable law.
Data retention
Contact inquiry data is retained only as long as necessary to handle your request. Purchase and billing data is kept for the duration required by French accounting regulations (generally 10 years). We do not retain data beyond these periods.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data may be shared only with trusted service providers acting as processors on our behalf (e.g. payment processing, hosting), who are contractually bound to handle it securely and solely for the purposes described in this policy.
Our website is hosted by OVH SAS (Roubaix, France), which may process technical data (server logs) as part of its hosting service.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data, where applicable
- Object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) at www.cnil.fr
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at maxime@dysign.fr. We will respond within 30 days.
