Modern Fields Pro release: 50% off for all licences

After weeks of intensive beta testing, Modern Fields Pro is now available for everyone starting today, with a discount of 50% until July 10, for all licences.

I always dreamed of building a new kind of ACF, more suited to the modern WordPress, with a perfect integration into the block editor, by leveraging its native fields and components.

Doing that would allow a lot of things that ACF can’t do, like editing the fields group visually, inside the editor leading to a better customization and faster configuration.

I also wanted to push things further and add some exclusive features like a query loop to customize and display the selected posts, add fields into an existing block, and show any value with a block.

In other words: doing things visually, without writing a single code.

Now I’m proud to release the first stable release of Modern Fields, packed with not less than 10 exclusive features:

There is a lot packed in the pro licence: the most expected Repeater field, the Relation field, the conditional logic, the highly customizable options pages, or even custom PHP blocks.

But there is also a lot of exclusive stuff you won’t find anywhere else, to improve your experience. The field value block made to bind your value in the editor, the query loop filter, the relation loop block and the ability to add fields to any existing block. All of this, without writing a single line of code!

Every feature was made with these requirements in mind:

Here are some highlights on my favorites features:

The relation field & relation loop block

One of the most expected features is the Relation field. It allows you to select some posts and define the order of appearance.

The interesting part here, is the relation loop block that displays your selection. It’s inherited from the query loop block, so you can customize everything inside the loop.

See? Easy to use. No coding required. Just a block with a native WordPress experience.

Filter the query loop with field values

Another feature I’m proud of, is the ability to filter the native Query Loop block with values from your fields.

It’s easy to set up a rule, and the block adjusts the rendering live.

You no longer need to hook the loop with PHP. A few clicks in the editor will do the same.

Add fields to existing blocks

Ever need to add some fields on an existing block? Let’s say, the image block? You can do it natively, but it requires compiled JS and multiple hooks.

With Modern Fields, you can create a fields group and assign it to any existing block in the editor. We handle the registration for you.
